YOSCIWEB project has been set up to analyze how web sites dedicated to the popularization of science build and renew the social representation of science and scientists towards young people

YOSCIWEB intends to offer guidance, innovation, reference and best practices regarding image of science and to make science and scientific careers more attractive to young people. As a result of YOSCIWEB project we will develop a set of best-practice cases and recommendations on most effective ways of promoting science to young people by means of internet.

YOSCIWEB project has taken place from January 2008 to March 2010, so the research done during the project represents a snapshot of the landscape of scientific websites in partner countries at that time. We hope that despite continuously changing nature of internet our results remain valid also far beyond the end of the project.
