New technologies for education and the control of the quality of European water

The teachers involved in the project will be trained in the use of ODL technologies and methodologies for education. The methodology that will be used for the training will be based on a distance learning thanks to the Internet Web site and thanks to physical meeting during workshops that will be organized in the several countries involved.

The teachers will take part in the development, the experimentation and the assessment of new tools and new pedagogical approaches in the field of ODL.

Thanks to these tools and methodologies, they will help their students in a work of "research-action" on the topic of water.

They will also participate in the elaboration of a CD-Rom in order to bring together all the results and the methodologies used in the project. They will also contribute to finalize an European common training curriculum.
