President (Restek Consulting)

Good day to you.  My name is Dr. Deborah Waddill.  I am an owner of a small consulting firm as well as an author and adjunct professor at The George Washington University.  Recently, I co-authored a text entitled The e-HR Advantage:  The Complete Handbook for Technology-Enabled Human Resources (2011).  This book contains chapters on a variety of innovative learning technologies. It is offered through SHRM Bookstore, iBooks, Amazon, and Nicholas Brealey Publishing.

My consulting firm provides strategic planning for learning interventions enabled by technology.  I teach online and face-to-face at The George Washington University in both the Graduate School of Education and the School of Health Sciences at their Hampton Roads, Singapore, Hong Kong, and South Africa locations.  Courses include Technology and HRD, Evaluation of HR Interventions, Healthcare Leadership, Healthcare Quality, Healthcare Case Studies, and Action Learning.  I also enjoy being a board member for a startup mobile learning organization.

I look forward to becoming acquainted with members of this esteemed community.
