Public profile Frans Van Assche

Frans Van Assche works for the ARIADNE Foundation. Until recently, Frans was in charge for the development of the Learning Resource Exchange of the European Schoolnet, the largest cross border provider of educational resources for schools in Europe. The learning resource exchange is now a federation of 18 ministries of education and 12 commercial and non-government organisations. Frans has also been deeply involved in Learning Technologies standardisation work as vice-chair of the European standardisation section on Learning technologies as well as member of the board of directors of the European IMS Network.
