Lyn has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wales, Newport for over 20 years. She was most recently the Senior Research Co-ordinator for the Objective 1 project RISE which pioneered a model of learning advocacy and learner democracy. Lyn is now the Programme Manager for QWEST, an ESF Convergence Project helping economically inactive participants into learning and employment through a model of volunteer and mentor support. Lyn is the Chair of Community Development Cymru.
