Dr. Mariana Fuentes holds a research position in the Department of Applied Pedagogy with a contract from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. Her main research lines are teaching-learning mathematics with deaf children and youngsters, and Sign Language linguistics, about which she has many publications as in national and international journals and congresses. After joining the Dept. of Applied Pedagogy she began doing research about change processes in higher education with the team “Change Management in Teaching Organizations (CCUC)”, leaded by Dr. Marina Tomàs. Fruit of this collaboration she participated in various International Seminars and Conferences, and has several publications.
