Desarrollo de juegos serios: de la modalidad presencial a la informatizada
En este artículo se presenta una metodología para el diseño de un modelo de aprendizaje basado en juegos colaborativo, que en este caso se utiliza en el contexto de un curso de finanzas en una situación de aprendizaje in situ. En el texto comentamos tres versiones de un juego de activos financieros: el modelo presencial dirigido por un profesor, el modelo en papel y el modelo informatizado.
Transponer una actividad presencial a un entorno en papel y luego a uno informatizado, manteniendo la experiencia de aprendizaje y el rendimiento en las tres modalidades, plantea retos en los ámbitos del diseño instruccional y de la interacción persona-ordenador. Para llevar a cabo esta tarea seguimos un proceso de rediseño progresivo del juego de activos financieros presencial. Primero se desarrolló una versión en papel a fin de evaluar las dinámicas de la colaboración y, posteriormente, se realizó una versión informatizada que incluía una herramienta de comunicación sincrónica (chat).
A partir de la observación del proceso, nos proponemos comparar el rendimiento de los estudiantes en los formatos en papel e informatizado. El grado de aceptabilidad y usabilidad percibido por los estudiantes se analiza en función de los resultados obtenidos al utilizar el modelo de aceptación de la tecnología (Davis, 1986). Concluimos el artículo comentando una posible modalidad futura de aprendizaje basado en juegos colaborativo para contextos en línea a distancia.
Formación eLearning: ventajas e inconvenientes
Ahorro de tiempo y dinero, formación masiva... el e-learning seduce cada día a nuevas empresas con sus cursos profesionales y sus argumentos irrefutables. Prueba de ello es que en 2010 la facturación de este mercado ascendió a 144 millones de euros, lo que equivale a un crecimiento del 25% en relación con el año anterior (fuente: Féfaur). Una progresión considerable que acredita el éxito de la formación a distancia y le augura un futuro brillante.
