The award winning ceremony took place on September 25, in Warsaw, at the celebration of the European Day of Languages. Ceri Anwen James was the winner of the competition aimed at documenting how language teachers use social media in their teaching practice.

Ceri’s teaching practice is displayed here. She has been rewarded with a €1000 prize, for technical equipment of her choice, plus all expenses covered to travel to Warsaw in September 2012 for the award ceremony.
The award winning ceremony was part of the final conference of the Language Learning and Social Media european network. The Programme of the conference can be found here. Here is a group picture in the lovely old town!
Our competition aimed at documenting how language learners use social media for language learning in daily life, outside formal teaching contexts, has now its winner!. From a total of 38 interview videos, based on the votes of the jury and the ‘Likes’ votes Vimeo channel our winning interviewee is Claire Apostolidou, 30 yrs old, from Xanthi, Greece. The winner will be rewarded with a €1000 prize, for technical equipment of her choice, plus all expenses covered to travel to Warsaw in September 2012 for the award ceremony. Watch her video here!
