Internet-Based Assessment in Distance Education

Todays’ university students have much greater choice of courses that meet their own circumstance. For this reason there will be a substantial increase in the use of the internet for teaching and learning. The project’s goal is to support the implementation of internet-based assessment in distance education through the development of a web portal and virtual (web-based) resource centre. Through these means, interested teachers will have both access to and use of internet-based assessment.
