You can find videos according to various criteria: theme, faculty, country, language, institution and others. Its aim is to provide video-lectures, -experiments, courses in different languages and visitors are invited to add videos or to edit the video descriptions.

eLearning Papers: Extended Deadline for Submissions on Learning and Work

The article submission deadline is October 18th, 2012. This issue of eLearning Papers, dedicated to the topic of Learning and Work, seeks articles dealing with trends and best practices on learning experiences in the workplace that show how technology can support new learning approaches and new skills, competences and qualification systems to match users’ personal knowledge development plans.

Submissions are invited to explore and share experiences related to the integration of learning technologies into the professional sphere. Papers can be more specifically aimed at exploring the following themes:

  • Games and simulations supporting induction and learning at work
  • Training in virtual worlds
  • Collaboration systems and virtual meeting rooms in support of workplace learning

Starptautiskie studenti un mūžizglītības izaicinājumi

Neskatoties uz to, ka tikai nedaudzi nepiekritīs viedoklim, ka mūžizglītībai ir jābūt pozitīvai pieredzei, nepieciešams paturēt prātā, ka gados vecāka studenta ķermenis var prasīt to, ka tiešsaistes pasniedzējam būs jāizstrādā papildu rīki un jāattīsta jaunas iemaņas.

Šajā īsajā rakstā mēs apskatām divus izaicinājumus, ar kuriem sastapās starptautiskie studējošie, kas mācību vidē ieviesa dažas problēmas, kas bija saistītas ne tikai ar studējošā vecumu, bet arī ar ģeogrāfisko vidi, kurā viņi studēja. Studējošo vārdi ir izmainīti.
