Colloque PedagoTICE 2013
Le SiUP de l’Université de Toulouse, et la Direction TICE de l’Université Toulouse 2 convient à faire converger vos expériences les plus réussies autour des pédagogies et des technologies, afin de célébrer ce cocktail riche d’innovations.
A l’occasion du colloque PédagoTICE 2013, interrogeons-nous sur ce fait étrange : comment se fait-il que la pédagogie et la technologie, qui s’allient, se mêlent et se renouvellent tous les jours jusqu’à devenir plurielles, sont si souvent présentées séparément, cloisonnées dans le débat ?
En effet, les manifestations relatives aux technologies pour l’enseignement foisonnent, et celles concernant la pédagogie usant le numérique émergent… chacune de leur côté. Et pourtant, associer les acteurs des deux parties transmet un message bien plus fort, car audible par tout le monde.
Nous attendons de fructueux échanges entre enseignants et ingénieurs, entre pédagogues et technologues. En effet, PédagoTICE 2013 sera le premier colloque régional à privilégier un mode de communication en binôme, trinôme, voire plus !
Sur un mode « 1 journée pour tout et pour tous », PédagoTICE présentera un panel de retours d’expérience dans des domaines d’apprentissage aussi variés que ceux de nos établissements d’Enseignement Supérieur.

Enseignants, enseignants-chercheurs, doctorants, ingénieurs pédagogiques, ingénieurs TICE, assistants ingénieurs, techniciens… Vous vous intéressez de près ou de loin à l’alliage des pédagogies et des technologies, à la formation à distance par le numérique ? Quel que soit votre statut ou fonction, soyez les bienvenus !
Si vous travaillez dans un établissement d’enseignement supérieur (grandes écoles ou universités) de Midi-Pyrénées, vous êtes prioritaire.

Societal challenges, policy priorities and TEL: proposing a TEL research “relevance test”
Technology-Enhanced Learning has been developing in the last years but has not achieved the relevance level which is needed to transform educational systems. Why? This is the main question this Online Educa Pre-conference workshop will answer to.
The Workshop, organised by the HOTEL project with the support of the European Union’s FP7, will gather some of the most important Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) support and foresight initiatives of recent years, with the aims of reflecting on the issue of TEL research relevance.
The discussion will tackle the fact that TEL research, despite its recognised level of excellence and the strong efforts that funding agencies – especially the European Commission – are deploying, does not seem able so far to reach the relevance level which is needed to transform educational systems.
The event is open to Policy Makers at different levels, TEL Industry representatives, Teachers and researchers in higher education, Educational Practiitioners, Media, Educational providers, and anyone interested in Technology-enhanced Learning.

PREDICT 2012 - An Analysis of ICT R&D - EU & beyond
This page provides an INDEX to the PREDICT 2012 report that provides a detailed analysis of the state of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Research and Development (R&D) activities in the European Union.
- First an overview of the importance of the EU ICT sector and of its R&D is provided.
- Detailed information is then provided by ICT manufacturing and services sub-sectors, by EU Member States, and by comparison with the USA. Data and analyses are provided according to the following categories: Size of the ICT sector in terms of its share in GDP (i.e., ICT sector value added), ICT sector employment and labour productivity, ICT sector business expenditures in R&D (ICT BERD), estimates of public funding of ICT R&D at EU and Member States levels, and ICT Sector R&D personnel.
- Finally, a comparison of main indicators is provided, by sub-sectors, by Member States, and with the USA.

This paper published at Design and Technology Education: an International Journal, 16(3) justifies the inclusion of design and technology in the school curriculum by suggesting the content for the subject and describing some of the ways the subject might be taught.
The inclusion of design and technology in theNational Curriculum by means of four considerations: cultural significance, positive perception of self-efficacy, the contribution of design and technology to economic recovery and to engaging with global challenges.
