| 2. ONDERWIJSPROGRAMMA'S |

LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMME 2007-2013 |
| |
The Lifelong Learning Programme comprises four sectoral programmes on school education (Comenius), higher education (Erasmus), vocational training (Leonardo da Vinci) and adult education (Grundtvig), and is completed by a transversal programme focusing on policy cooperation, languages, information and communication technology and dissemination and exploitation of results. |

COMENIUS |
| |
|
Comenius is gericht op het schoolonderwijs en stimuleert grensoverschrijdende samenwerking tussen scholen, verbetert de beroepsontwikkeling van het schoolpersoneel en wil de taalverwerving en het interculturele bewustzijn bevorderen. |
| |
|
ERASMUS |
| |
|
Erasmus richt zich op het hoger onderwijs en wil de mobiliteit tussen Europese landen stimuleren en de grensoverschrijdende samenwerking tussen universiteiten bevorderen. |

|
GRUNDTVIG |
| |
|
Het doel van Grundvitg is de verbetering van het volwassenenonderwijs in ruimere zin, de verbetering van de scholingsmogelijkheden die ter beschikking staan van mensen zonder een basisopleiding en de bevordering van de innovatie in alternatieve onderwijswegen. |

LEONARDO DA VINCI |
| |
|
Het Leonardo programma richt zich op het beroepsonderwijs en heeft ten doel de vaardigheden en bekwaamheden van de mensen uit te breiden door de kwaliteit van en de toegang tot het beroepsonderwijs en het levenlang leren van vaardigheden en bekwaamheden te verbeteren. |

SOCRATES |

Het Socrates programma vormt de ruggengraat van de het actieplan op het gebied van onderwijs van de Europese Unie. |

LINGUA |
| |
|
|
Dit initiatief beslaat een gebied vanaf het kleuteronderwijs tot volwassenenonderwijs en heeft als doel de taalkundige verscheidenheid in Europa te bevorderen, de kwaliteit van het taalonderwijs te verbeteren en de toegang van de mensen tot de leermiddelen te vereenvoudigen. |

MINERVA |

Minerva spreidt zich uit over alle onderwijsgebieden; het programma bevordert de Europese samenwerking in het gebruik van informatie- en communicatietechnologieën in het onderwijs en stimuleert open onderwijs en onderwijs op afstand. |

ERASMUS MUNDUS 2004-2008 |

Erasmus Mundus è un programma di cooperazione e mobilità nel campo dell'istruzione superiore che mira a promuovere nel mondo l'immagine dell'Unione europea come centro d'eccellenza per l'apprendimento. Il programma sostiene master europei di grande qualità e rafforza la visibilità e l'attrattiva dell'istruzione superiore europea nei paesi terzi. |

| Dit programma is gericht op de dienstverlening voor telecommunicatienetwerken en steunt de bekrachtiging van de markt en de eerste implementatie van diensten zoals training en werk, of aanvraagdienstverlening voor cultuur. |
| FP7 |
| FP7 is the short name for the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development. This is the EU's main instrument for funding research in Europe and it will run from 2007-2013. FP7 is also designed to respond to Europe's employment needs, competitiveness and quality of life. |

CIP - COMPETITIVENESS AND INNOVATION FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME |

The first “Competitiveness and Innovation framework Programme (CIP)” is a coherent and integrated response to the objectives of the renewed Lisbon strategy. Running from 2007 to 2013, it has a budget of approximately EUR 3.6 billion. It represents a 60 % increase in annual spending on actions related to competitiveness and innovation by 2013 compared to 2006. |

ICT POLICY SUPPORT PROGRAMME |

The ICT Policy Support Programme (or ICT PSP) aims at stimulating innovation and competitiveness through the wider uptake and best use of ICT by citizens, governments and businesses. |

@LIS es un programa de cooperación de la Comisión Europea que se propone reforzar la cooperación entre la Unión Europea y América Latina en el ámbito de la sociedad de la información. El programa aspira a responder a lasdr necesidades de las colectividades locales, estimular el diálogo en materia de políticas y reglamentación y aumentar la capacidad de interconexión entre colectivos de investigadores de las dos regiones. |

E-HEALTH |

e-Health is today’s tool for substantial productivity gains, while providing tomorrow’s instrument for restructured, citizen-centred health care systems and, at the same time, respecting the diversity of Europe’s multi-cultural, multi-lingual health care traditions. There are many examples of successful e-Health developments including health information networks, electronic health records, telemedicine services, wearable and portable monitoring systems, and health portals. |

Artikel 6 steunt innoverende maatregelen waarmee de door het ESF gepropageerde activiteiten verbeterd worden. Het programma stimuleert het gebruik van IT tools binnen het kader van sociale dialoog en sociale insluiting. |

Het EQUAL ESF Human Resources Community initiatief is een experimenteel programma om nieuwe methoden te testen ter bestrijding van discriminatie en ongelijkheid op de arbeidsmarkt. Het themagebied "Aanpassing aan Verandering en NIT" is grotendeels op e-learning gericht. |
