A Virtual Learning Journey on Community Reporting Training

The Virtual Learning Bus platform, resulting from the work of the   LLP  project ISABEL is on line. It is an open source  Virtual Learning Journey on Isabel's project results and openly available multilingual resources. This "bus"  will take you on a journey around the world of Community Reporting, with carefully designed "bus stops" that are full of all the information you need to successfully run and manage your very own Community Reporter programme and /or adapting it to other kind of Web.2.0-based learning. This resource has been devised as a sustainable tool for the re-use of the ISABEL project methodology, activities and results.

It is an open source  Virtual Learning Journey on Isabel's project results and openly available multilingual resources. This "bus"  will take you on a journey around the world of Community Reporting, with carefully designed "bus stops" that are full of all the information you need to successfully run and manage your very own Community Reporter programme and /or adapting it to other kind of Web.2.0-based learning. This resource has been devised as a sustainable tool for the re-use of the ISABEL project methodology, activities and results. The bus will make four stops on its journey – as a trainer or educator this means you can prepare for and plan your sessions with confidence and access the resources you need for each session. You can spend as much or as little time in each of the stops as your learners need and it is conceived that Community Reporter trainees may go on several loops of the journey, as they become competent in different areas of media production.

The four stops cover the following areas:

·         First Station: PRESENTATION

·         Second Station: TRAINING

·         Third Station: PRODUCTION

·         DESTINATION!

Within each station you will find a range of materials that have been tried and tested on other groups – this way, the best learning is ready to be shared by existing facilitators with you. Materials include lesson plans, outlines and graphical support materials,  video and audio documentation, including video evaluations from other learners, which can be a real asset in bringing the training to life for new learners. 

By January 2013, your project  will be able to co-manage the platform, adding to the stations' goals,  uploading materials and resources and therefore enriching the data base.

Evaluarea calităţii e-learning de către o comunitate internaţională de experţi

Obiectivul articolului este de a prezenta planul Open ECBCheck, o nouă iniţiativă de certificare şi îmbunătăţire a calităţii în domeniul dezvoltării de competenţe prin e-learning. Modelul sprijină instituţiile care contribuie la dezvoltarea de competenţe în a măsura succesul programelor lor de e-learning şi ajută la îmbunătăţirea continuă a acestora prin colaborarea cu specialişti în domeniu şi prin analiză comparativă. Open ECBCheck constituie un mediu participativ de calitate care le permite membrilor, pe de o parte, să beneficieze de o mare varietate de metode prin accesul la instrumente şi la criterii de pus în practică şi, pe de altă parte, să creeze o comunitate bazată pe o marcă de calitate.
Schema de certificare a fost creată printr-un proces la care au participat instituţii din domeniul dezvoltării de competenţe, instituţii care au fost chestionate în detaliu în ceea ce priveşte cerinţele lor legate de o nouă schemă de certificare. În a doua etapă, au fost evaluate standardele şi certificările existente, ca de exemplu UNIQUE, EFMD CEL sau ISO/IEC 19796-1 pentru a se vedea dacă ele răspund acestor cerinţe sau dacă părţi din standardele şi certificările existente pot fi incluse în schema actuală. În sfârşit, după cum reiese din articolul de faţă, a fost propusă o schemă de certificare, incluzând o descriere a structurii acesteia, o definiţie a criteriilor de calitate şi a indicatorilor implicaţi ca şi o definiţie a procesului de certificare.

Rezultatele analizei extensive sugerează că instituţiile din domeniul dezvoltării de competenţe au, în general, un interes foarte mare în obţinerea unei certificări de calitate. Instituţiile sunt interesate, mai ales, de obţinerea unui instrument care să le ajute la măsurarea şi îmbunătăţirea eficienţei impactului, şi astfel să asigure succesul programelor de e-learning şi să le permită să se compare cu alte instituţii.

Analiza pe care o prezentăm în acest articol ne arată de asemenea că instituţiile au moduri diferite de difuzare a e-learning-ului prin activităţi specifice de dezvoltare a competenţelor. Pentru a se include aceste diferenţe, a fost creată o marcă de calitate cu două opţiuni : una pentru programe singulare şi alta pentru instituţii.
