Dear all, I would like to find out to what extent tertiary institutions in your country recognize knowledge acquired through informal learning (e.g., through adult further education programmes outside universities). Austria (where I come from) has passed legislation to allow such recognition in principle. However, in practice our (mostly) state tertiary institutions are not ready to do so. A recent meeting by the dean of universities have announced that they are "not against it", but require funding for implementation. Thank you for your contribution, Leo Hamminger
